The Fondation Etrillard, a Swiss family foundation, and the Académie des beaux-arts are joining forces to create the Digital Arts in 2025 Prize. This is the first time that digital art has entered the Académie des beaux-arts. Open to candidates of any nationality resident in Europe, with no age limit, this new prize will be awarded each year for a recent digital work that resonates with the artistic disciplines represented at the Académie.
Interdisciplinarity and dialogue between tradition and new media are at the heart of the Prize.
The jury is made up of Academicians and experts in hybrid and digital arts.
Selected following a call for entries, the winner will receive an endowment of €20,000 in recognition of his or her artistic work.
